Edinburgh Napier University | Virtual Conference

YOURgb produced a one-day virtual conference for Edinburgh Napier University, with the aim to celebrate all the people working throughout Scotland in the care home sector.

Our services included content creation, event identity refresh, comms planning, social media planning, event registration design and management, audience experience management, event flow and scripting, technical delivery and post event analysis.

With a short film premiere, x2 panel sessions, x4 keynote speakers, x8 breakout sessions from experts, industry leaders and representatives from Edinburgh Napier University, Queen Margaret University and Edinburgh University, the online event empowered, uplifted and celebrated the work that is being conducted daily in the care home sector.

The event was fully interactive as a Zoom Meeting to support breakout session functionality, along with chat and polling throughout the event, which resulted in high audience engagement.

We commissioned YOURgb as our annual event had to go online due to the pandemic. Key in this decision was the added value of the overall package offered by YOURgb service - providing technical support not only on the day of the conference, but in the preparation and planning required for an online conference. The attention to detail, expert advice and professionalism of all their team meant that our conference ran seamlessly.

The YOURgb team were responsive and creative in meeting our specific needs and provided a high level of support to speakers and delegates. Their input was invaluable and meant that on the day of the event we had confidence in the platform and the on-hand technical support should it have been needed. The delegate feedback from the event also speaks for itself, with many praising the way in which YOURgb worked to make it a collective online event, with high quality visuals and audience engagement.

The team were always friendly, informed, and professional and would like to say a particular thank you to Jenny Gibson and Emma White. YOURgb will be the first people we contact for all our future events.
