The Royal Highland Show continued its long tradition with the 2022 edition held between the 23rd – 26th of June. YOURgb were delighted to once again be part of the show, with the task of delivering the Facebook Live coverage throughout the 4 days event, working closely with the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs.

The event was watched by over 100k people worldwide and reached nearly 300k people on Facebook alone. We covered some of the most exciting competitions of the Royal Highland Show, from sheep grooming and wood carving to gun dogs and Shetland ponies. With representatives from SAYFC joining us as our live presenters, 15-minute segments of a range of classes and competitions were available to the Facebook audience. Our very own producers also jumped behind the camera to support us throughout the 4 days.

Team YOURgb managed all aspects of the Facebook Live coverage, including pre-production testing, comms, event documentation creation, co-hosting, scripting, online discussion management and post-event analysis. YOURgb was also responsible for the full camera crew and stream operators, ensuring a smooth running live event was available on the RHS Facebook page.
