Online Event x3 One Hour Masterclasses 247 attendees
After the huge success of the very first virtual Fishmonger Masterclass series back in June 2020, Seafood Scotland and YOURgb brought them back. These events supported chef personal development, knowledge, understanding and skills around the handling and preparation of Scottish Seafood.
Acclaimed Scottish seafood chef Roy Brett, and Fishmonger, Author and Channel 4 presenter CJ Jackson from The Seafood School at Billingsgate reprised their roles for the second series.
Our services included content creation, event identity refresh, comms planning, social media planning, event registration design and management, audience experience management, event flow and scripting, technical delivery and post event analysis.
Each 1 hour session covered topics that included sustainability and seasonality, as well as what to look for when sourcing quality Scottish seafood. Across all 3 sessions, different fishmongering techniques were explored on a range of fish species, by CJ Jackson. There was also a ‘Cook Off’’ element lead by seafood chef Roy Brett within the second session of the series.
The sessions were fully interactive with chat, polling and Q&A sessions which resulted in high audience engagement.
