Online event streamed live across the UK 120 minutes Over 4,000 attendees
YOURgb created, designed, produced and managed all PR for a live and online hybrid event, The Massive Get Together, that brought 10 of the UK’s cherished charities together in the fight against COVID-19. The online event was streamed to a UK wide audience on a bespoke streaming platform, designed entirely for this event.
Volunteering Matters, Marie Curie, The Children’s Trust, Crisis, FareShare, Royal Voluntary Service, The Conservation Volunteers, Thames Hospice, St John Ambulance and Love Your Neighbour joined forces for an evening of entertainment, fun and laughter to raise much needed funds for them to continue their vital work. With the charity sector facing a £12.5billion loss and large-scale fundraising events unable to take place for the foreseeable future, The Massive Get Together was a venture into the world of large scale, hybrid fundraising events.
Hosted live and online by Gaby Roslin and Amanda Byram in a London studio, we welcomed musical performances, theatre, poetry, advice, comedy and dancing from stars Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Nadine Coyle, Callum Beattie, Basil Brush, Adam Hills, JC Stewart, Donel, Alex Brooker, Myleene Klass, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Mischief Theatre, Max Boyce, Chris Kamara, Mel Giedroyc, Dr Ranj Singh, Chesney Hawkes and Nina Conti. We also had celebrity messages from Andi Peters, Sean Fletcher, Joe Lycett, Sue Holderness and John Barclay in the lead up to the online event and on the night itself.
YOURgb were responsible for event identity and brand creation, PR management which secured over 200 items of press coverage, bespoke streaming platform design and management, social media asset design briefing and creation, partnership strategy and management, host & talent sourcing and management, scripting, advertising and social media strategy, social media management, concept design and event flow, pre-event and live event communications, technical management, on-site event management, show calling and post event comms and success analysis.
