The Sandpiper Trust Online Auction
In March 2020, YOURgb and The Sandpiper Trust organised a Ball at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh for over 300 people, to celebrate 20 years of saving lives in Scotland; and critically raise funds and awareness for the future. Due to the ever-changing COVID-19 landscape, The Sandpiper Trust took the decision to cancel the ball in its entirety. In order to cover the costs of the ball and raise additional funds for the charity, YOURgb organised and managed a 5 day Online Auction.

YOURgb were responsible for the coordination of the 42 various auction lots prior to the Online Auction and once the Online Auction had closed as well. These fantastic auction lots were generously donated and ranged from artwork and cases of whisky to bespoke jewellery design and fishing trips.

Along with the auction lot coordination, we were also responsible for the promotion of the auction, through guest communication, multiple social media channels and a successful PR campaign. After the 5 days, the Sandpiper Auction Week managed to raise a total of £32,695.04!
